SP-30 is implemented in three phases. It specifies the definition of blocking fluid and buffering fluid, and clarifies wrong and confusing concepts. A blocking fluid is a fluid introduced between double seals that completely blocks the process fluid from leaking into the surrounding environment. The pressure of the blocking fluid is always higher than the pressure of the process fluid being sealed. A buffer fluid is a fluid used as a lubricant or buffer between double seals. The buffer fluid pressure is always lower than the pressure of the process fluid being sealed.

Smaller coefficient of friction

Seal ring matching should have a small coefficient of friction.

Good self-lubrication

If a short period of dry friction occurs during work, it will not damage the sealing end face. Therefore, the seal ring should have good self-lubrication, seal ring material and sealing fluid also have good wettability.

Simple structure

Seal ring structure should strive to simple symmetry, give priority to the use of the overall structure, can also be used in combination (such as mounted) seal ring, try to avoid the use of sealing end spray type structure.
